Both the Grüner Veltliner Ried Gebling 1ÖTW and the Riesling Ried Marthal 1ÖTW were awarded the highest rating of 5 stars by the new Vinaria Wine Guide. Great success also for our sister winery Buchegger, which was included in the group of 5-crown wineries.
Our Erste Lagen wines will soon be on sale and can be tasted on two dates – including September 9 at our winery. In addition, there are two other gourmet events in Vienna in which we are participating.
After a four-year break, the Vinaria Trophys were finally awarded live again this year. Winemaker Silke Mayr and cellar master Michael were able to receive no less than five awards.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the two specialist magazines Vinaria and Falstaff have thought about the best female winemakers in Austria. Always in the top ranking: Silke Mayr.
After the successful premiere last year, Jürgen Vigne from the Salzburg Pfefferschiff will be our guest again at the winery during the Tour de Vin from May 5 to 7.

Two success stories for our top Riesling: The Riesling Ried Kremser Marthal is a 1ÖTW Erste Lage wine. In addition, according to the wine magazine Vinaria, it is one of the best Austrian Rieslings of the 2021 vintage.
With the presentation of the 1ÖTW-Erste Lagen, the outstanding 2021 vintage has found its culmination. This year, for the first time, six wines from our
Silke Mayr and artist Wilhelm Scheruebl showed at the end of July how creative creation and wine culture can benefit from each other.
The trade magazine Vinaria and the daily newspaper Die Presse ranked our Gelber Muskateller second in their Muskateller tastings. So much euphoria puts us in a spending mood: We will send you six bottles for € 54, – free of charge throughout Austria.
We have the great honor to provide one of the two official festival wines of the Salzburg Festival this year.

Great honor! Our winery is the venue for the opening event of ” Kultur bei Winzer*innen” (Culture at Winemakers) . On July 1, the singer Tini Trampler and the band Playbackdolls will be guests at the Vorspannhof.
You may have already noticed: The bottles of our two winery lines – Vorspannhof Mayr and Weingut Buchegger – will have new labels starting now.
Taste wines and enjoy award-winning cuisine: On April 30 and May 1, during Tour de Vin, chef Jürgen Vigne from Salzburg’s Pfefferschiff will be cooking up at our winery.
We change the name of our popular Grüner Veltliner with this vintage: “Grüner Veltliner Point” becomes “Grüner Veltliner Ried Wolfsgraben”.
There will be an ice wine again: On January 12, we harvested Muscat grapes in the Frechau vineyard.

The Vorspannhof becomes high-percent: Our Edelbrand Anton took its origin in our old apricot garden, was allowed to mature for ten years and is now sold in limited quantities.
