The legendary 2019 vintage once again shows grandeur! With the Grüner Veltliner Drei Rosen we start a series of special fillings, which differ in style and presentation from our regular assortment. Not every year, but every time something special!
A special wine with a special presentation
The Grüner Veltiner Drei Rosen (“Three Roses”, named after the old name of our former restaurant) was harvested very late in the fall of 2019 from very old vines, pressed after 15 hours of maceration, fermented in steel tanks and allowed to age for a year in small wood. A giant of a Grüner Veltliner, extraordinarily multilayered, extract-rich and complex. A wine with extremely long aging potential. And a wine that deserves a special presentation – for the label we used a work by the Salzburg artist Wilhelm Scheruebl. With “Edition No1” we were immediately taken not only by the motif – wine leaves can be seen – but also by the strong colors.
