At the end of April, the awards of the Austrian wine magazine Vinaria were presented in the Austrian Parliament for four years at once, for the first time again after 2019. Since then, the pandemic made it impossible to host the gala.Winemaker Silke Mayr and cellar master Michael Nastel participated at the big stage for the best wines and winemakers of Austria and received five trophies: 2 x for Grüner Veltliner Ried Vordernberg from the winery Buchegger (2019 and 2021 ), 2 x for Riesling vom Löss (2019 and 2020) and for the Gelber Muskateller (2021). Only five other wineries also received five awards, one was even awarded six trophies.
