A special presentation for a special wine: for the label of our “Three Roses”, a Grüner Veltliner from the legendary 2019 vintage, we resorted to a work by Salzburg artist Wilhelm Scheruebl. “With ‘Edition No1,’ I was immediately taken not only by the motif – wine leaves can be seen – but also by the bold colors,” Silke tells us. “I asked Wilhelm Scheruebl if we could use a section of the work as the label for our new Grüner Veltliner, and he immediately agreed.”
Silke then had the opportunity to show his appreciation at the end in Salzburg. At the presentation of his installation “Oikos,” which Wilhelm Scheruebl erected in the courtyard of the Neue Residenz for the 100th anniversary of the Salzburg Museum Association, she provided the vinophile setting. With the selection of wines from Vorspannhof Mayr and Weingut Buchegger, which Silke personally presented, the “Three Roses” could of course also be tasted.
